Prayer Requests

We receive many requests for prayers every week. We are hoping that this will provide an easy way for all those interested in receiving prayers to make their requests. With this blog your prayer request will be seen and acted on by us and others.

Respectfully in Christ, Mark Price

Dear Friends:

As I mentioned about three weeks ago, my cardiologist strongly recommended that I undergo a transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE). This involves a scope being introduced via the throat to a viewing location very near to the heart. He wants to do this in order to better gauge the severity of my mitral valve leakage.

I'll be having the TEE performed early Friday morning (June 15). We would very much appreciate your continued prayers.

Love always,
Pat and Joyce

Dear Friends:

George and Marisa Cladakis, as you'll recall, attended the recent Florida Enrichment Program. George and Marisa are wonderful members of our Retrouvaille of Tampa Bay community. They need your prayers.

George will be undergoing a heart catheterization on July 12. He will also have a transesophageal echocardiogram performed the same day. We ask for your continuing prayers for George and Marisa.

If you would like to e-mail George and Marisa, their e-mail address is: Gmcladakis@cs.com

God Bless,

Pat and Joyce Clark

My business partner and I have been struggling trying to build a small business that will provide for our families, for our employees and their families and to help our clients with their businesses. We have done great work, but our clients are few and our cash flow very challenging. I ask for your prayers that we can get this business going and growing, provide for all involved and help alleviate the stresses on our marriages and lives.

Dear Friends:

Many of you know that I have been experiencing breathing problems since May 5, 2007. Early tests indicated that I have mitral valve leakage. As a result, I have been seeing both a cardiologist and a surgeon in an effort to determine the best way to deal with this condition. In addition to treatment by medication, I have undergone a litany of tests in the last 2 1/2 months that includes a stress test, chest x-rays, an EKG, an external ECG, two transesophageal echocardiograms, a heart catheterization, and a series pulmonary function tests.

After extensive review, my surgeon has recommended that I undergo surgery to either repair or replace my mitral valve via open-heart surgery. Once he opens me up he’ll be able to determine whether to repair the valve or replace it.

The surgery will take place between August 21 and August 28.

We ask four your continuing prayers for us now, and throughout the surgery and recovery period.

Peace and love,
Pat and Joyce Clark

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Please pray for me as I undergo my 33rd surgical procedure, a back surgery, on September 11th. Please also remember in your prayers my spine surgeon, Dr. Kevin Deitel, and the anesthesiologist who will be physically holding my life in his/her hands during this procedure.

God Bless All of You!

I ask for God's forgiveness, his love and his guidance. I ask that he help me to become the best person that I can. I am seeking to forgive those who have trespassed against me, to love those around me with all my heart and to give up myself willingly to God's plan. I ask for the Lord's protection while doing so.
